Is removing the blurry coating from the psvr1 lens the same as psvr 2?

Started using my psvr 1 headset again but the lens are like white-ish and a makes everything have a slightly white opaque look specially on the right. It's not too bad so should I leave it or should it be as easy as removing the psvr 2 one with some alcohol?
