Lithium conversion

Upgrading my ez go to 48v lithium. Plan on going with the vatrer battery kit. Not the most knowledgeable on electricity but is it really as simple as just taking out the 6 8v batteries dropping in the 48v lithium plugging everything in and going? I have a small 12v noco lithium bettery that was giving to me I plan on running my lights and radio with so I won't need a step down from the 48v for that. Thanks for any info!
