Soooo annoyed with my FET coordinator
TW: success
I have had 3 transfers so far and one gave me my beautiful baby girl. We had a transfer last month that failed to try and have a sibling, and I am beyond frustrated with my coordinator.
I requested to have the same coordinator last time but unfortunately, she had left the clinic so I have a new one this time. She's not the best at answering messages and it really feels like things are slipping through the cracks. Not to mention, she seems to always be out of office? Which is fine, they're human too and need days off, but the very least she could do is leave detailed notes so that whoever follows behind her can do it but the responses I get from her relief is "wait until she comes back". Girl, what?!
Now I'm annoyed because at our appointment with the doctor, we were told that he would be putting me on the same protocol of my successful transfer. For some reason, I never thought to compare the calendars. I trusted her, and it seems like that was a mistake. I'm reviewing the calendar for my next transfer and already caught a mistake. I messaged her, was told she'd be back next week to fix the calendar.
Okay, fine, but then I realized something crucial: there was a mistake on my estrogen dose from my most recent failed transfer. The regimen for my successful transfer was 1/2 tablet by mouth twice daily > 1 tablet by mouth twice daily + 1 tablet vaginally twice daily > 1 tablet three times daily + 1 tablet vaginal twice daily > lining check, then decrease to 1 tablet twice daily + 1 tablet vaginal twice daily.
My most recent transfer did not have me decreasing the estrogen dose after my lining check. I had a nice and thick lining too, at around 10 mm. Now I'm spiraling wondering if this was the reason for my failed transfer and I'm devastated all over again.
Should I complain? Should I bring this up? Was not decreasing the estrogen the reason my transfer failed?
