You’re so beautiful...

Sitting there all alone

Alone in the dark

While the rest of the world is gone

I approach slowly

I don’t want to give you a scare

But something inside you

Warned you should not be there

So, getting up fast

You quickly ran back to your car

Leaving me waiting

All alone in the dark

I followed you home

Not an easy task

I lost you twice

Why must you drive so fast?

It doesn’t matter

I finally found where you are

Sitting at home

All alone in the dark

I rap at the door

“Please, just let me in”

You pretend you’re not home

I’m not gonna knock again

I go around back

Trying the door on that side

Or maybe a window...

You can run but you can’t hide

I can almost hear you

The thumping of your heart

I know you’re in there

Sitting alone in the dark

There is no escape

Just come and meet your fate

I’m not going away

I think now it’s far too late

So, come on out

And take what I have to give

It’s only for you

No one else can have it

No more games

Ah! There you are!

You, my dear, have been served by the best

While sitting alone in the dark

Consider this your official warning

“Dear Miss... you are hereby being sued by the City of... for leaving your trash bins on the street too long...”
