Top "rodeo clown" / nonlethal bullfighter versus Cape Buffalo
One of the top competitors in modern nonlethal rodeo bullfighting is matched up against a cape buffalo instead of a rodeo bull. Venue is in the same rodeo ring that bullfighting is ordinarily conducted in. The human has been given advance notice of a few months.
Human wins if he completes his routine un-injured, just as he would against a regular bull. Or if the buffalo gives up. Cape buffalo wins if he incapacitates the human.
Does the Black Death do what its species has done to a surprising number of African big game hunters, or does the human use his expertise in ungulate evasion to live to perform another day?
