2003 350z crank but no start, no dash lights
Hi everybody I’m dealing with a crank but no start issue on a 2003 350z touring, manual. It has not been starting for a bit but for a couple days it decided to start. I noticed when I tried once I would put it to ignition and nothing. Took the key out and flipped it around and put it back in, turned it to ON, fuel pump primed and it started. I will also say there are no dash lights, anti theft light isn’t on. The best way I can describe it is that it’s acting like it’s in acc mode. Fan works, head unit doesn’t seem to, but aftermarket headlights DRLs work. ECU was sent in to be rebuilt by the owner and it didn’t fix anything. All fuses have been checked except for the multi fuse ignition switch one, and the actual fusable link on the positive terminal. Everything looks okay but those haven’t actually been tested. I’m trying to see if it’s the key ignition switch so I took it out and I ordered a new one but I noticed it was kind of separating, the metal body to the plastic of the switch. Additionally, here are the engine codes I got from scanning: b2201 and b2202 which are ECM codes likely from lack of power, engine signal 6 c1136 I also noticed that it didn’t seem to be fully tightened with the top screw- and I believe that acts as a ground. So I’m planning on new ignition switch and fusable link and ignition 40A fuse as of right now. Any other ideas? Thanks.
