Should I downgrade?

Hello Everyone,

I’m a 24M, I came to Canada as an International student and bought a Hyundai Elantra N line 2022. I pay 400 monthly and currently it has about 10,1000 km’s on it.

As of now I owe $15,000 on it. I was thinking about

downgrading to a Honda Civic older models. I can still afford this car or I can pay it off in full.

Reasons :

*My car insurance is about $450 per month

(which is Insane)

* Secondly I have grown tired of having a cool car among my peers as it’s a sports model.

*Although I have enough fun in it, I’m tired of the car even though it has fancy feature.

*I could save up money. And focus on my new career and in order for that my expenses should be low. I’m going to WFH.

*I Could move to a better apartment.

Overall, buying a new car at my age, I feel like was kinda dumb.

Even though it is my first car I feel bad
