🔹 Intake
property has about 10 dogs are not being fed or given water- they look very malnourished. Also, they have 5 chickens not being fed.

📝 Shelter Notes:

Rocky greeted with all four on the floor and wagging tail. Rocky walked on a loose leash and was quiet in kennel throughout the day.

Approaching kennel, Rocky greeted me with a wiggly body, wagging tail, vocalized, and happy feet. He was easily leashed and walked semi-loosely.

Rocky greeted me by his kennel door with a loose body, low wagging tail and soft mouth. Walked on a loose leash heading in and out of south building. As we approached his kennel he backed away a bit but followed me as I walked in ahead of him.

Rocky has been showing a relaxed body, with floppy ears, soft facial expression, and a semi tucked tail. Walked on a loose leash to the runs, but on the way back, he kept a semi tight leash, not wanting to go into his kennel.

When I approached he was laying on his bed. When he got up, he stretched, had a relaxed body and a soft wagging tail. He leashed well but took some extra baby talk to get him to walk out of B row. Once out in the hallway he gained confidence and walked right to the runs with a relaxed body, wagging tail while on a loose leash. He sniffed neighboring dogs and then did his business. He releashed well and returned to his kennel with no issues.

Was tethered to the wall by another ACT. When removing him from way he began to walk towards door. Walked through doorway and outside with no issues, stopping occasionally. Was able to get him to follow me with no issues. Greeted neighboring dog with a relaxed body, high sweeping tail. Stayed toward front of run when coming back to retrieve him. Walked into kennel with no issues.

Approaching kennel he is on bedding. I opened kennel and he presented a tense body, lowered head, furrowed brows. I leashed him and needed a lot of encouragement to get him to follow me. Occasionally he would stop and pull back. Had to again get down and use baby talk. Would not follow me through doors so I did have to pick up and place him through doorway.

Approaching the kennel, Rocky was laying down on his cot. He stood up and greeted me with happy feet, a fast wagging tail and a soft open mouth smile. He leashed well and walked out of his kennel confidently all the way to the runs. Once in the runs he sniffed his neighboring dogs and did his business. Once he was done he sat at the front of the run quietly waiting to come in. When I approached he had a fast wagging tail and a wiggly body. He returned to his kennel with no issues. Removing from AE.

Approaching the kennel, Rocky was laying down on his cot. He stood up and greeted me when he saw me at the kennel gate. When I opened the kennel gate, he walked up to me with a wiggling body, ears up, open mouth smile, fast wagging tail, and soft eyes. Rocky was walked on a loose leash to and from the outside runs.

3yo Rocky is on tomorrow's euthanasia list, Thurs Feb 26 @ 1pm ct. Coming from a neglectful/hoarding property, Rocky is still very sweet, wiggly, attentive. He deserves a 2nd chance. Please share Rocky! [Houston, tx / a2057077]
