Night Pastilles - constant terrible after taste

I have just started taking the Whole life Botanicals grape pastilles this week.

Since I started, I have had the most constant awful taste in my mouth. Everything I eat tastes awful, I can’t even drink water. It has a foul, metallic taste to it. I’ve never experienced anything like this.

Is there a different way I can somehow consume them that won’t leave the constant taste? Will it be this way with any gummies I try?
