Low G and High G on one Uke?

I consider myself a noob, so apologies if I’m asking a stupid question.

I’ve recently gotten into fingerpicking songs, some of which require low G tuning. I only have one uke and would like to be able to switch between low and high G tuning (without having to swap strings). Is there a G string that is an in between gauge of the high and low G that you can tune both ways? Is this a thing? Thanks!
