What is the purpose of a manager lying during an interview
I had a interview at a small restaurant, and during it, the district manager who did not give out her name at all for whatever reason, which was a red flag, well this manager kept hiding her interview sheet when writing on it, I never had a manager do that, they're very open about what they wrote.
Well I was asked two sole questions that were super easy, a Yes/No question, "Are you willing or able to wear non slip shoes, and Navy blue jeans" both of which I said yes to, and well, she marked both as No, to which I corrected her and she said sorry and then 2 minutes later the interview was done.
I heard it before "as a manager I find you looking at my sheet very intrusive" well to you I want to say, it shouldn't be a issue, you are dictating someone's livelyhood and if you dislike being corrected about it, then it shows you're not fit for a manager spot. If I an employee find out during or after the interview, that I was sabotaged and/or lied to, I will not just sit back and go "Oh well, shit happens".
I am not some numbers Quota, I am a human being.
