TBall Tears

Started tball - 4YO (M) loves playing at home and with school sports program but during practice and games he melts down after 20-30 minutes saying it’s taking so long or because he doesn’t get the ball every time. This escalates to full on meltdown. No one else on the team is doing this. Any tips? I’d be happy with him playing in the dirt as long as he doesn’t scream and cry in front of everyone. Quitting isn’t an option as dad is coaching and they need volunteers
