Michigan WBB beats OSU in OT 88-86

Don’t know how many saw it but this is legitimately one of the most insane basketball games I’ve ever watched at any level. Michigan was down 16 points at one point in the 1st quarter. Huge 2nd quarter, OSU hits a buzzer beating 3 to go into halftime with a 1 point lead. Michigan dominated the 3rd but then went ice cold in the 4th, went several minutes without scoring and let a 9 point lead slip away. Tied at 71 with 10 seconds left, Syla Swords hits what looks like it could be a game winning 3. Bad foul with 3 seconds left to send them to the line, they miss the front end so they intentionally miss the second. We rebound and they foul, no bonus so we have to inbound the ball. We not only turn it over but foul a 3pt shooter with the clock expiring, the most disastrous outcome in that situation and OSU sinks all 3 free throws to send it to OT. At this point 2 of our starters have fouled out of the game so OT is tilted in their favor. They jump out to a quick 5 point lead in OT that they eventually stretch to 8 points. We’re down 8 points with a 1:30 left in OT and we close the game out on a 10-0 run. Macy Brown hits two back to back 3s off the bench to tie it and we get the lead with 3 seconds left an Olivia Olson bucket, she had a career high 31. OSU heaves a 3 at the end and banks it but they didn’t get it off in time. Shouldn’t have been that complicated but whew what a win. GO BLUE
