DAE rinse their tea bag before putting it in their cup?

I would always find sediment at the bottom of my cupboard tea, and would never finish it because of that. One day I decided to rinse my bag first and sure enough no sediment. I've been doing it ever since. Everyone thinks it weird and I haven't met anyone else who does this.
