I’ll be honest about my 5 month journey turning me from 20% body fat, to 8% body fat, and I apologise if I go into a lot of detail fo my journey, you can skip this if you don’t want so much info. I am posting this in the Retatrutide community because I KNOW Reta had(and still has) a HUGE impact on my fat loss. But I’ll be transparent, and also let it be known that when I started my Reta, I also did test c at a trt dose of 100mg/week, 50mg Mondays 50mg Thursdays, and have been running it nonstop since my start of everything on the 29th of September 2025. I was also on bpc 157 and tb 500 at 500mcg each daily, to help my chronic shoulder impingement (it REALLY made it almost nonexistent) and GHK CU at 1500mcg daily, these other 3 peptides I ran for the first 8 weeks, before stopping them and running just Retatrutide and Test C.

I started my Reta at 2mg/week and before I get flamed, I know that’s crazy and I’ll admit, when I first started peptides, I generally knew fuck all about peptides because I was incarcerated for 5 years and 10 months and was released on the 2nd of January 2024. When I got out I was fat as fuck even though I ‘worked out’ in prison, my diet was shit, and apart from working(also pretty stationary work) for less than a year during my stint, I was locked up in the cell for 20-23 hours most days. Kinda hard to burn much calories like that 😂. But I digress.

All I knew about Reta was that it was great for fat loss and all the info I got was all basically from the dealer getting all of it for me. Lol. So HE recommended I start at and remain at 2mg once a week. Day 2 after the inception was craaaazy. I had uncontrollable diarrhoea at least 10 times the whole day, and days 3-4 were better but I still had diarrhoea once or twice both days. But day 5 onwards I was golden and didn’t care about the diarrhoea episodes I had to endure when I saw how fast my fat loss was even from weeks 1. Weeks 1-10 I kept my Reta at 2mg which finished my first 20mg vial of Reta, and having been on peptides for 10 weeks and doing more and more research everyday, decided to titrate it up to 3mg/week and kept it there for 4 weeks before titrating up to 4mg/week, split into 2mg Mondays, 2mg Thursdays, and kept it there for another 3 weeks before titrating up to 5mg/week also split into 2 doses, and now, currently on week 22, I have titrated it up to 6mg/week which I plan to stay at for 4-8 weeks before titrating over time back down to 1-2mg/week for maintenance.

Just 4 weeks ago I also started my mitochondria enhancement protocol, and from the first week just did NAD+ at 50mg 3x/week. Weeks 2 I titrated it up to 100mg 3x/week and added SS31 at 2mg daily. I know this is rather low for SS31, but I felt the benefits already and decided to just keep it at 2mg daily. I ran my SS31 and NAD+ for 2 weeks, and this being week 4, replaced SS31 with MOTS-C at 5mg 3x/week, which I plan to keep on for the remainder of this cycle, I reckon I would run it for 8-12 weeks. Oh before I forget, when I started this mitochondria protocol I also started hgh at 2iu/day. I was on the fence of doing hgh or cjc + ipa but ended up going straight for the hgh. Running it at 2iu a day I’m not too worried about the sides and am only really running hgh for the health benefits. I might add in some slu pp and/or 5amino1mq at some point as well. It’s still early in my peptide journey and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon if ever to be honest.

Oh! Also, I have been lifting weights for decades now already, me turning 40 in December this year. Since my release I’ve been trying to hit 5 days a week with 45 min of zone 2 cardio after every workout, if my work schedule allows. I do push/pull protocol these days.

My fat loss journey has been nothing but excitingly eventful, all in a good way. Reta completely changes the way you lose fat. In terms of dieting, I follow a pretty low carb diet where the only time I really have a proper source of carbs is post workout, with the mindset of replenishing my glycogen. Sometimes I have carb pre workout if I know I’m probably gonna lift heavy, eg leg day etc, and I also have carb refeed days once a week or 2.

Thanks for hearing me rant. But I love peptides, and for now, Retatrutide is my favorite peptide of all time by far!
