# Build Notes & Performance

* **Aesthetic:** A "temple artifact" vibe. The ink-wash aesthetic of the **Traitors Tiger** caps pairs naturally with the organic, textured finish of the stone case.
* **Lighting:** Features a **solid orange underglow**. Due to the dense construction, the glow is extremely subtle—effectively a "hidden" detail that only reveals itself in low light from a top-down perspective.
* **Acoustics:** A "stately roar." Despite the density, it leans toward a sharp, confident clack. The spacebar required internal foam to mitigate a "mad hollow" sound, bringing it in line with the rest of the board's dignified resonance.
* **Feel:** The "Goldilocks" profile. Substantial and firm without being stiff. Surprisingly, while it looks like a boulder, the actual weight is more manageable than its visual mass suggests.
* **Assembly Observations:** **Required a double build.** The original PCBA had a non-starter layout (`?` to the right of `R-Shift`). Rebuilt with the **1up PI60 HSE**. A complex dampening sandwich (Poron + Foam + Cork) was used to tune the stone's resonance.
* **Final Verdict:** The biggest surprise is how effectively this functions as a high-tier daily driver. While it has the visual presence of a novelty/showcase piece, the actual typing experience and sound profile make it a legitimate, practical favorite for the desk.
