Short great animes with complete stories?

I finally got around to watching Odd Taxi, and loved it even though my tastes for anime are typically more action heavy. It scratched an inch of having the full story told without a bunch of loose ends and not too many filler episodes. Or get canceled or ruined by a change of studios before the series finale. Looking for recommendations for other animes which have a complete story, hopefully only one or two seasons long. Others I have watched which I think follow these rules: Death Note, Vinland Saga, Kill la Kill, Cowboy Bebop, Code Geass.
