Teacher says my kid struggles to sit still, what would you do?

We had our first conference and the teacher mentioned my son has a hard time staying seated during circle time. she said he is not being mean or disruptive, just very wiggly and distracted.

At home he is active but nothing extreme. is this pretty common for kindergarten boys or something i should look into more? what helped your kids?
