716i Replacement / Next Generation?

With the 716i being “discontinued” is there any rumor of a replacement? I know the HYP in .277/6.8 was mentioned in August but curious if that will be offered in a 7.62x51/308 version.

Had my eye on a 716i but might grab a Spear instead now…
