SYD - LAX flights disappeared?

We have flights booked for early Dec, SYD-LAX. I just got a notice that our flight time has changed, and it turns out we’re now on the AA flight instead (which unfortunately leaves in the morning instead of evening, not great for us).

When looking at options, the Qantas SYD-LAX flights have disappeared altogether regardless of date, type of payment, etc, and just looking straight at the website, not via my options for my specific changed flight. This appears to have happened as far back as Nov (I can find some direct in October).

Anyone have an idea of what’s happening? Could this be a temporary thing, then they’ll show back up (at which point I’ll try to figure out getting us switched back onto the Qantas flight). It just seems very odd.
