Using tret for bacne, need moisturizer rec and routine help [Product request]
I have hormonal acne on body (mostly) and face. I started using Tret 0.025% and clindamycin mid January. On tret days I use La roche Lipikar AP+ wash, then apply tret, then apply Lipikar AP+ triple repair moisturizer. On clindamycin days I use BP wash 10%, then, apply clindamycin, then the same moisturizer. I always wake up with my face feeling a little dry, so I apply Clinique dramatically different moisturizer (I really like this one) on my face every morning. My skin is always very dry, itchy, and peeling (especially face around mouth and jaw), and I HATE that it feels like I spread butter on my body from the moisturizer. Are all moisturizers like this? Are there any better options, that will help better with the dryness and not make me feel gross every night?
Additional details: I started applying tret once or twice a week on the first weeks, then 2x or 3x a week, and this week I am trying to do it every other day, alternating with Clindamycin. Am I increasing the frequency too fast? Sometimes I just don't use either and give my skin a rest. Is it okay to skip sometimes or will it affect the results? I do feel like the texture on my skin has improved, and that some of the new pimples disappear faster than they used to. But in some weeks it looks better and with less acne, then it looks worse on the next.
Back story: I used to take Yaz for hormonal acne (from 18yo to 32). My skin was not perfect, but it didn't bother me at all. Decided to stop taking it August last year and acne got bad on my back, chest, arms. My face didn't change that much, I just get a few more on my jaw line and temples. What really bothers me is my back and arms.
