Did I just lose my items permanently?

I just died to a herald 3 times. I decided to log out instead of trying to re-acquire my items, since the bodies are supposed to be present with my items on them. 2 items are missing: my spirit monarch, and my eth thresher with obedience. Is there a way for me to report this to blizzard or am I royally boned?
