Request for Additional Evidence – Is this for biometrics or more info?

Hi everyone,

I just received a “Request for Additional Evidence Was Sent” update on my case status. I applied after December 12, 2025, and I’m seeing that many people who applied after that date are getting biometrics requests.

Does anyone know if this RFE could be for biometrics, or is it usually for something else? I haven’t received the actual notice in the mail yet, just the status update online.

Would appreciate if anyone who recently got the same update can share what theirs was for. Thanks!
