What’s the point?

So at this point we all know there’s a lot of people who quit glitch in order to not have a loss appear on their record. When I see a guy who’s 50-0 I just laugh because I know how he got that record. It’s not like back in the day when the game came out. I’d be like “oh dear lord I’m in for a world of hurt..” now I just know the guys gonna quit glitch if I start to win against him. So my question is since we all know that the quit glitch is in the game why do people continue to do it? Records aren’t even reliable anymore, what’s the point of having a perfect record with little to no losses if everyone knows how you obtained it?
