My skepticism around Alidropship/Sellvia
Hi! I'm fairly new to dropshipping/ecommerce business and I want to learn how to succeed in it as well. So I went with Sellvia through AliDropship. At first glance, I was thinking they seem to be an alright team, It's US based and all. But here's what ticked my red flag. After the registration, I was given a website with a domain and products was already there. Nice right? The products are e-books on different guides about lifestyle, personal finance etc etc.. Seems pretty easy to sell as It shouldn't require too much from me on shipping and packaging. Because I believe that the customer orders the e-books and it's being sent on their way their email. Apparently not. In the first 24 hours that went by, I got 7 orders, BUT I had to manually pay as a middle man from my own pocket for each order.. Why is that? I'm imagining that the customer pays the full price and that's it. There is an option to automatically fulfill orders for a "measly" $100. But I'm assuming that autofulfillment add on takes my money as well. I gave it a second chance to try again. Paid my dues and used the credit I got for free for their advertising service. But my mind is foggy around their service. After looking around the internet, the website reviews are split between feelings. From one side, I'm seeing that they are scammers and the other side are saying it's legit. Even dropshiptool.io is saying that they are a legitimate company. Just to make sure I've submitted a request to refund the money I've spent and they seem to be complying on that note I hope.... I'll give you guys the replies I've got from the support team in the comments and if anyone that's clear headed could give me a second opinion would be wonderful...
