Need some help understanding when to use what

Hey,

I'm new to the Nioh series, and new to Team Ninja games. Would any of you be able to guide me on how to choose weapons and stances for what circumstances?

With the addition of Ninja mode, it feels like low stance isn't very beneficial anymore, unless there are unique movesets, like Ground Sweeper with the Odachi. I can understand in previous games, without a Ninja mode, you would want something faster for certain situations. But in Nioh 3, Ninja mode feels superior in almost every way. So how and when would low stance be helpful?

The same for faster Samurai weapons, like the dual swords. I feel like I can should be using slow and heavy weapons for Samurai mode, for the reach and damage, and if I need something faster, I can always switch to Ninja mode. However, I also feel like I might be missing something in my train of thought.
