Audio Chipset from motherboard and jack ports broken
Hello!
Since half a year, it seems like the audio chipset from my MOBO GA-Z270-HD3P or at least the 3.5 jack ports, have been broken.
Every time I connect some jack to the rear ports of my computer, a static noise appears, without being able to mute it or silence it, and the same happens with the front headphone jack of my case, just kind of static noise.
The only way I work with audio recently is by using the audio jack port of one of my monitors, but I feel like the sound quality is lacking, and it limits me of what can I do with the sound, like, for example, unable to listen to some audio with the screen turn off or just choose between my computer or my game console for audio.
I use the Logitech Z623 THX 2,1 speakers for my PC.
What should I do?
Was thinking of buying a sound card but I'm not sure which are good, better buy or worth the price without expending much.
Any ideas or recommendations of what can I do? Could the problem of the static noise be fixed? Should I get a sound card or more something akin to the Focusrite?
Thanks so much for your help.
