colposcopy - how bad is the pain? i'm needing 5 biopsies at minimum.

hey guys, how bad was your pain level? I know we’re all different yes but just trying to gauge the situation. is five a lot? also, did anyone take 1-2mg of ativan before the procedure? i’m getting topical lidocaine for my cervix. i take 0.5mg of ativan once to twice a day so 1mg-2mg is a lot for me but ive used 1mg for the dentist before and still felt dizzy and scared so im thinking it wont be enough. (my psych said 2mg is fine if I need it). i have agoraphobia so i haven’t been this far from my house in a few years but im doing driving exposures everyday. just scared.
