Is Lifelong, Constant Twitching Normal?

I’m an 18M, and I’ve experienced frequent twitching for at least the past decade. The twitching has occurred from head to toe, and I’ve never mentioned it to a doctor because it has been happening for as long as I can remember.

I do have anxiety, which may or may not be relevant, but the twitching began long before I developed anxiety. It occurs most often on the left side near the scar from my pectus excavatum surgery I had at 12, though I have experienced twitching throughout my entire body. The twitching can last all day if I remain in bed or sitting, and it mostly subsides when I’m up and active.

Is this something worth bringing up to a doctor, or is it considered normal?
