Girls finding nri grooms in AM

I have seen couple of relatives who are super good looking, fair skinner girls who completed BSc and MBA from a local clg...was working for 30k pm in a local office travelling in local trains.

Suddenly they got married to PR holding NRIs living in Europe and USA, who are senior data analyists at a super reputed IT companies. Their husbands found them a job in the same companies, got citizenship as well and gave birth to 2 kids.

Husbands share all household chores. They organise parties and pool parties for all their birthdays and anniversaries and have a bunch of white friends as well whom they invite.

They wear super modern clothes and even bikini..they don't even wear any traditional signs of marriage like thaali (mangalsutra in tamil) or metti (toe ring) or sindoor.

It feels like they got an instant upgradation in life and lifestyle, escaped the conservative traditional life and got an amazing EU job and passports without even hustling just with marriage.

Is it very common or just case of outliers?

Because I have read stories online that how some NRIs marry some girls from India, treat them like maids and have affairs with other girls at back...and these girls have no choice but to live there tolerating everything.

Though I have read such horrible stories online about marrying nris..personally in my family, I saw girls getting instant upgradation in life by marrying NRIs.
