Help remembering old custom personalized site (like myspace)

my memory is so fuzzy but it was a site maker type website where u ur own links and attach them to other urls it was the first and easiest site ive ever seen in the 00's. it was customizable like myspace was but im pretty sure it was before myspaces big popularity boom.

I think people used it for blogging etc like myspace but i remember there being a huge Dragon Ball Z community that used it for fan content like games. (text based rpgs etc) people would level up via some exp text scripts or something.

sorry for being vague im remembering it slightly more as i type.

the urls were large but u could connect links to ur own site and add images as links pretty seemlessly (they could also be sprite gifs live on the site). i wanna say like xanga or something but that wasnt it, same era though.

please help lol i want to check if an old site i made was on the waybackmachine.
