Live migrations show weird memory transfer speeds

Hope someone has an idea as to what is going on.

This is a newly setup cluster, three nodes with 2x10Gbit/s backbone and storage on iSCSI.

When doing a live migration, the storage is instant (as expected) and then it switches to memory transfer. Here I get weird speeds, every line in the Task viewer shows roughly 6.5MiB transferred, but a transfer speed of multiple GiB/s. Example: 2026-02-25 13:44:35 migration active, transferred 291.9 MiB of 500.0 GiB VM-state, 3.4 GiB/s 2026-02-25 13:44:36 migration active, transferred 299.7 MiB of 500.0 GiB VM-state, 3.4 GiB/s

When it gets past the first couple of GiB, it suddenly changes and reports correctly: 2026-02-25 13:46:58 migration active, transferred 4.0 GiB of 500.0 GiB VM-state, 804.0 MiB/s 2026-02-25 13:46:59 migration active, transferred 4.7 GiB of 500.0 GiB VM-state, 781.6 MiB/s

And then finishes when it hits the currently used amount of RAM (roughly 9GiB in the tests). The reported speed error happens on all migrations between the nodes.

Anyone have an idea?
