Why do wooden floors get dull so quickly in Dubai apartments?

Hey everyone,

I work in flooring maintenance here in Dubai and I’ve noticed something interesting — wooden floors here lose their shine much faster compared to other countries.

From what I’ve seen, the main reasons seem to be:

• Fine desert dust acting like sandpaper
• Constant AC drying the wood
• Incorrect mopping methods
• High humidity fluctuations

For those living in Marina, JVC, Downtown etc — are you facing the same issue?

What products or maintenance routine worked best for you?
