Options for replacing can lights.
When we moved in in 2007, l apparently replaced the bulbs in these can lights with the fixtures you see below. Simple fixtures - you screw a small piece into the socket at the top of the can light can and then you plug in the connector. The LED fixture is held in the can at ceiling level by a couple tension springs.
We'd really love to replace both can lights with better fixtures, possibly even with small fans.
I am guessing this will need a new work ceiling fan brace between joints and a junction box.
Does anyone have any product recommendations?
