please help me understand what my sugar levels mean for me and my baby

i am currently 6 weeks pregnant (unplanned pregnancy). while it wasnt in the cards to get pregnant this year, i am very grateful for it and looking forward to motherhood.

i had some blood tests done as advised by doctor and while most things are normal, here are my sugar levels-

sugar fasting - 104 mg/dl

sugar pp - 237 mg/dl

sugar random - 226 mg/dl

i just gaveblood for a hba1c test. results will be out tomorrow.

but i am devastated. i never thought i would be diabetic. i cannot be. i am scared for my baby. i am scared for myself. i am just falling apart at this news…
