What other ways could izuku get a quirk without it being OFA or AFO?

while I do appreciate a lot the fanfics where he gets quirks from either of them. I cant write him getting a quirk without him turning into a hero or villain. if he gets OFA, he'll be a hero, and if he gets a quirk(s) from AFO, he'll be a villain. But I'm wanting to write a purely vigilante fanfic where he obtains a quirks, but there's no other Canon way outside of ofa and afo. So what other (obviously not canon) bs ways could he obtain a quirk?

My only other thoughts are he breaks into Dr. Garaki's lab which how would he, or some ungrounded quirk trafficking ring that garaki could he apart of.
