Recommendations for Greece in May?

Me and my best friend are traveling in May. We are starting in Istanbul for 5 days and flying out to somewhere in Greece for an additional 5. I don’t want to do Athens or Mykonos. Seeking beautiful scenery and breathtaking views, safe and not overpriced, nearby to beaches. Please let me know!
