Not sure how to turn youtube video into social posts effectively for podcast promotion

I do a weekly podcast about marketing and put a ton of effort into each episode. Research, prep, recording, editing, show notes. Probably 8-10 hours per episode all in.

Then I upload to spotify and apple podcasts, post the link on social media and move on to next week's episode. I'm realizing this is leaving so much value on the table.

Each episode has like 5-7 really good insights that could be standalone social posts. I'm recording all this great content then barely promoting it beyond a simple link post that gets 12 likes.

I know I should be pulling clips for reels, pulling quotes for graphics, turning key points into threads but by the time I'm done editing the episode I'm exhausted and just want to ship it.

Seeing other podcasters with way more social presence even though their episodes aren't necessarily better, they're just better at extracting and distributing content from them.

Do you have a system for pulling clips and quotes or do you just grind through it?
