I have thick/wavy hair. I usually keep it trimmed fairly short (much shorter than any of these images) to combat the wave (it's fairly straight if I buzz it to an 8 or 7 clipper, basically around 1") but I've started growing it out a bit as I contemplate what to do.

I honestly don't know what's wrong with my skin. One Dermatologist said I got unlucky with a case of Folliculitis Decalvans. Another said it's just Seborrheic Dermatitis (because I have other dry/scaly spots on my body). Another said it's Psoriasis. All I know is I had a flair up and within 2 weeks a bunch of my hair fell out.

What should I do?

I've thought about just shaving it but I still have dry skin plaques on my scalp along with scaring so I'm afraid it will look ugly. Only one way to find out I suppose, but I'm considering all my options currently.

If I go the hair system route, I'm afraid the glue might irritate my scalp. I also have to wash my head daily with 3% Salicylic Acid shampoo (Neutrogena T-Sal) to keep the dry skin/dandruff at bay. Would that ruin the glue/hair system?

On that note, the second Reddit image is of some AI depictions of different hairstyles. Do any of those suit me, or do you have any recommendations you think would look good on me? I figure if I'm going the hair system route I might just change my hairstyle completely if possible.

Also, here is a place I'm considering going to. Do they look like they'd do a good job (based on her Instagram videos) or should I go somewhere else?

$950+ feels expensive but maybe that's normal (new to all this)? How long will that last? Am I looking at paying something like that annually (on top of the $175+ Maintenance fee occasionally)?

Thanks in advance for all your input. Looking forward to figuring this all out.
