Vision and Revoltion Against Time Seth Rollins 2026 (WAT Championship)

Booking

This needs no introduction. I've drawn with my opponents previously: this is the decider. Let's rumble!

We start at WrestleMania 42. Brock Lesnar awaits his open challenge opponent. Nothing happens for a bit, before we see Logan Paul and Austin Theory laid out in their locker room. Suddenly, a phrase comes over the speakers:

BURN IT DOWN!

Seth Rollins comes back, wearing his attire from WM35, to fight Lesnar once more. The two put on a clinic, the mid match a summarised version of their world title clash 7 years prior. Despite Brock's best efforts, Rollins stomps him into the dirt again. Seth is back with a Vengeance!

From here, he sets his sights on the Vision. First up is Logan Paul and Austin Theory, the others being injured. Turns out he's been hiring people as mercenaries as "the masked man" to cover his tracks for his return, knowing he needed to remove Brock from the equation first. Paul and Theory jump him after Seth bests Theory on RAW but Jevon Evans comes to Seth's aid.

The two sides clash in a tag match on the RAW before Backlash (I'm assuming there's no room for it on Backlash) and win. Logan chastises Austin, blaming him for the losses. This progresses over time up to Clash in Italy. Seth beats Logan after a super curb stomp. Theory does... nothing to help Logan, per his request, leading to them infighting and sparking the decline of The Vision.

Seth is not exactly happy about the past month, being unable to get his hands on the two who betrayed him. Though he is happy he shut the tow Puals up and bested Lesnar. In the meantime, Seth sets his sights on the King of the Ring: the only accolade he has yet to win. Seth makes it to the final, besting Dragon Lee, Jevon Evans and Logan Paul over the course of June. His opponent in the final? Ilja Dragunov. The two clash at insert Saudi Arabia show here for the crown in a hard-hitting affair, with Ilja prioritising limb targeting.

Dragunov mainly targets areas Seth has hurt before, primarily his back, Knee and Shoulder. Seth fires back hard as well, even catching him off guard by hitting the Stomp on his arm to affect H-Bomb. Despite his best efforts - even hitting a Phoenix Splash - Dragunov powers through and knocks off Seth to win the crown. Seth raises Ilja's hand in the air as he walks backstage: only to be cut in half by a spear on the stage. Bron Breakker is back.

Bron seems to restore much needed order to The Vision, taking back lead of the group. However, Seth does not let up and is fired up to take down his treacherous former teammate, brawling with Breakker and trying do cause dissent. Bron and Seth fight at SNME 43 (I think it's 43 next) in early July. The Vision is banned from ringside and two combatants slug it out over the course of 10-15 minutes. Seth goes for a super stomp but Bron spears him out of middair, then picks him up and runs the ropes to spear him for the win.

Bron continues the beatdown and is dragged away, as Seth climbs on the table to recover. As he does though, he gets hit by a splash. One so big, you might even say a Tsunami. Bronson Reed has returned. On the same show, Austin Theory wins the IC title in a fatal four way, accidentally pinning Logan, when it was already agreed in a 1v1 they had that Logan would win.

The group try to force the exchange for the IC title, Theory handing the belt to Logan, but Pierce overrules it. After this, Seth asks to talk to Pierce privately. He initially acts like he knows what Seth wants, but when they're done later on he keeps double checking if he's sure. Turns out, Seth is asking for double duty at Summerslam. He wants 1 of Bron/Bronson at night 1, the other on night 2. He can't afford to keep fighting them and needs to knock the down quickly to keep his career in tact. As such, if he loses either fight, Seth will retire from in-ring competition.

We then cut to Gunther pouting in the corner after hearing the announcement. (I'm only half-kidding)

Summerslam is set as this: N1 Logan vs Theory for the IC title, if Theory loses he can't challenge for the title again (a detail Pierce added to prevent a finger poke of doom), and Reed vs Rollins. Theory retains via DQ after Logan gets cocky and is caught using brass knuckles and Reed is unable to knock off Seth, who dodges a Tsunami and super stomps him. Bron lashes out at all of them, calling them useless. N2: Seth vs Bron. The Vision tries to wreck it but fail, Theory eating a Spear, and Seth fights them off before kicking out of a Spear. Finally, Seth counters Bron's spear with a stomp to pin him and win. The Vision has been vanquished!

So Seth would move on to qualify for Money In The Bank, as do Breakker and Theory. The match would be typical chaos for the MITB, with Brock even running down to cost Seth. Theory would almost win it before waiting for Bron, who then shoves him down, ordering him to finish Seth off. Theory looks at Seth, before betraying Bron, bashing him with the belt! This gives LA Knight the opening and he wins, finally becoming Mr. MITB.

The vision crumbles, leading to a 6-man Hell In a Cell for the IC title at the September PPV. Seth eliminates Reed and Lesnar, whilst Theory bests Logan and Bron, busting Bron open out of rage. In the end, Seth would avenge his 2023 loss and defeat Theory to become champion! Seth gives the former champion his respects, and holds the title for the remainder of the year, eventually losing to Sheamus!
