Put Red Coolant (G12) in my M57TU2 (231HP). Should I flush it back to Blue?
Hey, I have an E60 with the 231HP M57TU2 (aluminum block). I accidentally swapped the coolant to red concentrate (mixed with distilled water) instead of the OEM Blue.
I did a flush with distilled water before filling it up. The car warms up fine and the coolant in the tank looks clear.
Should I worry about the aluminum block/gaskets and flush it back to Blue G11 immediately, or can I just leave it as it is?
