41, soon to be dismissed and open to all advice. What do I do?

Hi there everyone,

Appeal is expected to fail so looking forward now. I have various licenses for heavy machinery but I want to do something more fulfilling. In a position where I can take it easy for a while, maybe to retrain, but absolutely stumped on what to do.

I am located near Manchester UK, am mobile and somewhat competent. I don't want to spend the next 20 years driving shovels and forks, I want to enjoy myself and earn a decent wage. Open to any and all suggestions.
