Izzie's was Bailey's favorite

I think the show wanted us to believe that George was Bailey’s favorite. And in a way, that makes sense. He was kind, rarely caused trouble, and she even named her son after him.

But honestly, rewatching the show, it feels like the real favorite was Izzie.

Bailey seemed to see herself in Izzie. They both cared too much, got emotionally attached to patients, and let that affect their decisions.

Izzie also didn’t have anyone really in her corner like Meredith and Cristina, she came from nothing and had to rely only on herself in literally everything, and that clearly meant something to Bailey.

And Bailey didn’t just care about Izzie from a distance. She got personally involved in her life, the Denny situation, the cancer, her daughter showing up, and her wedding. With the others, Bailey would sympathize, but with Izzie, she showed up.

I hate how their final scene was Bailey being angry at her for messing up the liver patient, and what makes it worse is that when Izzie comes back later, the show didnt give us a single scene with them together.
