Citizenship delayed for 2 years

I applied for citizenship on March 6/2024. I passed the citizenship test right away. But after that everything got stuck. I have done fingerprints twice but still no luck. File is stuck at background check. Applied for notes multiple times but nothing came out of them. Called Ircc and got MP involved but he wasn’t able to find out anything either. Any suggestions what can be done next.
