Im confessing to my guy best friend but im scared I'll loose him after😭 this

Hi! So I'm planning to confess to my guy best friend after he comes back, but I'm scared things won't be the same after my confession... How do I do it so it's not like a confession, but I don't want to make things awkward. E.g

Hey, how are u? I want to tell u something but promisise u will be brutally honest with me okay. I don't know if u notice, but in my opinion, I feel different when I talk to u compared to my guy friends, like my other guy friends won't call me a princess or wants to calls with me and they don't make me feel as happy as u make me do. I was wondering if u felt something too or im being delusional.
