Does after school tutor not work anymore?

I just started a new solo online franchise. Sometimes I’ll spam afterschool tutor to cheese and get my team stacked quickly. I have after school tutor fully upgraded on all my coaches, but it’s not working. I’ve used it for training camp through preseason week three and I’m only getting a single skill point for a few of my players that trained.

Has anybody else noticed this?
