New R1300GS has on/off clutch feel...normal?

I've owned a 2025 R1300GS for about 6 months and it has 2500 miles. It's a dream bike, but it has a very on/off feeling clutch. Once in a while, I'll get a jerky start. When I'm accelerating hard...it'll bite hard between gear changes. Is this just ME or do some bikes take some more clutch break-in? BTW, my S1000R has a buttery smooth clutch feel.
