Paid Annual Fees on Axis MyZone Like a Clown, Got LTF After Closure Request 🤡

Had an Axis Bank MyZone credit card and was happily paying annual fees like a loyal customer 🤡 while new users were getting Lifetime Free offers.

Decided I’d had enough and raised a card closure request. In the reason, I literally wrote that I’m paying fees while others get it free.

Suddenly, Axis Bank found the retention budget. They offered 5,000 reward points (basically covering the last 2 years’ fees I paid) and made my card Lifetime Free.

Lesson learnt: threaten to leave politely. Banks remember you exist only when you try to close the card.
