UT Austin for Grad Studies

Hi! I am an incoming grad (international) student at UT Austin in Humanities. I am kinda confused thinking about the cost of living + the stipend I receive. Can anyone from a similar field advise me on how life has been there + did you manage all the expenses with the stipend they provide? Also, would there be a hike in wages anytime soon at UT Austin?
