Why is Reddit or Social media in general are Pro Feminist than real life?

I have never met a single feminist in my lifetime in real life. Never seen any parade, activist or any activities including it or events. I asked any of my girl friends if they are one, and they do not care at all and just say no. Its basically like a foreign concept. Is it maybe a cultural thing or a western ideology that is just loud.
